April has been the month of rewrites. First Paddy, now Starfarers & Tharnians. It's taken forever but with feedback from Belinda Missen, I think it's finally ready! Background on this, I wrote it for years, over a decade, and self-published part 1 as 'Star Legend' in 1999. I started it in 'Kindwords' on the Amiga and finished it in Word on a PC. It was pretty bad. In 2000 I wrote part 2 and self-published it as 'Ruminations of a Wayfarer' (still available if you're brave enough). In 2008ish I finished a screenplay based on Ruminations. Much shorter and sharper but still tripe. Studying with QPIX, the screenplay was improved. I turned the screenplay back into a book in 2014. The end, right? Well, no. It was better but still had some issues. Finally in 2020 it's ready, I'm happy with it, and I'm not visiting it again. It is still dated but it's now the best it can be. It used to be a love story ... now I'm not sure what it is.
